English quizzes
Quiz answers and results are calculated in your browser tab. They are not sent to Anglokit or saved in cookies or browser storage. Refreshing the page or changing language starts over. Booking a lesson does not automatically share your quiz answers or result.
Account privacy
We store your email, sign-in records and private diagnostic progress, answers, writing and AI feedback in Cloudflare D1 until you delete your account. Recordings are not stored. Sign-in email is sent through Resend; it never enrolls you in marketing. A necessary HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. Expired link/session records are cleaned on later auth requests, and pseudonymous auth-rate records after 24 hours on later auth requests. AI spending metadata has its separate seven-day retention. Account deletion revokes sessions and pending links but does not withdraw a separate waitlist request or remove budget accounting. Contact support for those separately.
Optional English diagnostic and AI feedback
The signed-in diagnostic saves answers, progress, writing and AI feedback privately to your account in Cloudflare D1 until account deletion. Recordings stay in tab memory, not our database or browser storage; download one if you want to keep it. Downloads are deliberate copies on your device. Only pressing the AI feedback button after agreeing to its disclosure uploads writing and optional audio to OpenRouter’s selected Google provider. Recognition answers and scores are not sent to that provider. We request zero-data-retention routing and prohibit provider training/data collection; if an eligible route is unavailable, the request fails. Learner content is not logged by the application. We retain random assessment IDs, daily IP hashes, reserved amounts, processing status and reported provider cost for spending and abuse limits; records become eligible for deletion after seven days and are cleaned when another eligible AI request is processed, not by a scheduled job. OpenRouter may retain request/billing metadata under its policy. Once accepted for provider processing, a failed or interrupted AI attempt keeps its conservative budget reservation and is not retried automatically. Teacher review is not automatically requested; booking sends no report. Do not submit confidential or third-party personal information.
Group lesson waitlist
The waitlist form asks for your email and, optionally, your first name, speaking level, availability and time zone. We also save the site language and submission time. Cloudflare D1 stores the request. Resend sends a notification with these details to our support inbox, which is hosted by Fastmail.
We use the request to match a group and contact you about it. Joining does not book a place, take a payment or subscribe you to marketing or event announcements. We keep the request while you are on the waitlist; email us to update your details or leave the list and request deletion. Notification copies are also held by our email providers.
To limit spam, the form uses hourly hashes derived from IP addresses, not raw IP addresses in the waitlist database. Old rate-limit records are cleaned up when later requests arrive. These records are not used for advertising.
Booking calendar
The booking page shows a calendar from Cal.com, our scheduling provider. It loads from Cal.com when you open that page, and Cal.com may set its own cookies to make booking work. The details you enter there go to Cal.com, not to this site.

Analytics and technical data
Public pages use our self-hosted Rybbit analytics at a.xevol.com to measure visits: pages viewed, referring sites, browser/device details and approximate location derived from the connecting IP address. Rybbit stores a random analytics identifier in your browser’s local storage, not a cookie. Raw-IP storage, URL query capture, session replay and form/input capture are disabled. Quiz answers, writing, recordings and contact details are not sent to analytics; the learner app does not load the tracker. Fonts load from this site. Cloudflare Pages hosts the site and may process IP addresses, browser details and technical logs to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
Advertising measurement (Meta)
Public pages, but not the learner app, can load the Meta Pixel so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. When it is on, Meta receives the pages you visit, your IP address, browser and device details, and Meta’s own cookies (_fbp, _fbc). If you book a free lesson on our booking page, Meta also receives a booking event with its Cal.com booking reference. Our server sends a copy of that booking event, with your IP address, browser details and the same cookies, so Meta counts it once. We do not send your name, email, phone, quiz answers, writing or recordings to Meta.
It is on by default, except for visitors in the European Union, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom: there it stays off unless you turn it on. It also stays off if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Use “Ad measurement” at the bottom of any page to turn it on or off; turning it off removes Meta’s cookies from this site. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy.

When you book, Cal.com receives your name, email and booking answers. When you email us, Fastmail stores the messages. When you pay, Stripe processes the payment; we never see your card details.
We keep lesson records and correspondence for up to 2 years after your last lesson, and payment records for as long as US tax rules require.
